India is ready to take on once again a big team of T20 cricket as India have already registered their success for beating the giant teams like Australia, Pakistan and West Indies in past 2 months. Opening, middle and tale enders are tremendously in form as they have been performing in the big matches throughout the Asia Cup recently held in Bangladesh as well as in Practice matches scenario where they met West Indies on 10th March, 2016 at Kolkata. MS Dhoni is leading the Indian playing the vital role of leading from the front.

Warm-up matches for the ICC World T20 2016 are not over yet and it’s India taking on South Africa for their second warm-up fixture on Saturday 12th March. Enjoy watching India vs SA live streaming, ind vs sa live scores, ball by ball live updates and scorecard. The match is scheduled at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai and is expected to be a thriller.
Indians have already made their intentions pretty much clear from the first warm-up fixture that they played against the West Indians and it seems that they are not willing to spare any team no matter what stature they have got in the T20I world. South Africa, on the other hand, will be looking to cash this opportunity and take on the challenge so that they can start their campaign to the tournament on a high.
India’s most dreadful batsman lately is Rohit Sharma who has been getting lots of runs and was the standout performer even in the last warm-up with 98 runs to his credit.
So, India will be banking on him a great deal in this match as well. However, he is not the only one on whom India relies today because all their batsmen have been in super touch with Virat Kohli coming forward as their Mr. Dependable in the Asia Cup.
Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni have also got some runs under their belt. But it will be a good chance for other players with the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina to get their lost form back.
India have also found some good pacers in the form of Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammad Shami also looked impressive in the first warm-up after returning from an injury as he picked up a couple of important wickets. So, overall India is a good side and they will be the favorites to win this one as well.
South Africans have not performed too well lately and it’s their bowlers who have let them down for most part. Hashim Amla looked in super touch in his last outing against Australia where he played an unbeaten knock of 97 which really was a gem of an innings.
De Kock also came back really strongly in the last couple of games scoring 44 and a quick-fire 25. Their last couple of totals while batting first were 204 and 178. So as far as their batting is concerned, South Africans are pretty much on track and they will be expected to put up a great show against a confident Indian bowling line.
The problem actually lies with their bowling as they couldn’t defend such big scores in their last two matches against Australia. Their main strike bowler, Dale Steyn, remained wicket-less in the last match. Imran Tahir couldn’t pick up a wicket in the game when they were defending 204 and he leaked away too many runs finishing with the figures of none for 47 in his 4 overs. So, the protease will have to come up with a proper plan against the high-flying Indian batting line.
MS Dhoni has been the real man for the Indians. His career has been full of success stories and he leads his side from the front. The most successful Indian captain has leading qualities running through his blood.
Faf du Plessis
Du Plessis has lead South Africa in 27 T20Is to date and he has won 16 of them for his side. That’s quite a good stat and he is expected to consolidate his record even further.
Mumbai wicket is expected to offer support to spinners but, other than that, runs will flow freely and we can expect a high scoring game if batsmen can negotiate spin well. It will be sunny with 32° C maximum temperature.
Players in the Spotlight:
No doubt that India is in form and their all players are performing well, but South Africa is the team which is to be tackled with strong nerves and hard cricket must be needed, that’s why the form of players is yet to be checked, this is the reason that India’ captain MS Dhoni is looking forward to this match with serious attitude.
On the counter side, South African side is also having some tough players, but the tale enders are not able to provide their fruitful appearance for the team. Hashim Amla is tough with bat and still contributing to his team as he played against Australia in the 3rd T20 match recently played in Cape Town where Aussies defeated the host, but it’s cleared that Proteas are not as simple for Indians as West Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladesh.
South Africa Players Batting & Bowling:
Proteas got AB de Villiers who has been one of the most expensive and in demand players of Indian Premier League (IPL), the entire South African team is playing at their 2nd home India and these pitches are much aware by South African cricketers where they have been performing and playing for a couple of years.
Behardien is still part of South African XI for the World Cup 2016, where JP Duminy captaincy has been fruitful for the team and India will have to take this guy seriously in the practice match to judge his technique. On the other side, Faf du Plessis is looking forward to play against India after year. Hashim Amla, the run making machine is ready to perform and he is a big threat for Indian bowlers as this opener will give too much tough time to the bowlers at the start.
Mostly it’s not routine that Indian pitches support the spinners, but somehow the Wankhede stadium is expected to a bit supportive to the spinners and Imran Tahir must get practice enough appear with quality and match winning appearance. Dale Steyn, Morris and Miller are there to hold the bowling department of South Africa and they will have to perform with careful as Indians are much better to play the seamers at their home grounds.
Indian Players Batting & Bowling:
On the other side, the Indian team is in form with all aspects of t20 cricket as they are Asian champions now and maintaining their form in the World T20 2016 is a big challenge for them where they will face Australia, Pakistan and South Africa. Virat Kohli, India’s premium batsmen is the most dangerous player in the world as he has been consistent with his bat for last years and damaging the opposition a lot.
Virat Kohli scored 6 half centuries back to back including three against Australia, Rohit Sharma also proved himself scoring 98 runs against West Indies in a practice match played on 10th March, 2016 at Kolkata, Shikhar Dhawan also performed well against Bangladesh in final match of Asia Cup as he stood strong against the Bangladeshi bowlers.
On the other side the bowling department of India is also up to the mark which includes Ashwin, in form Mohammad Shami and Ashish Nehra who helped the Indian to defend their targets and his bowling helped the Indian team to win the match. All eyes are on this match as this is going to be toughest match so far for India that contains South Africa as their opponent.
