New Zealand is ready to take on the Sri Lanka team in the 5th warm up match as the practice matches are heading towards their final moments prior to the official battles in ICC Champions Trophy. Though the batting department of New Zealand side was failed miserably in their last warm up match against India and they were failed to score a big total as Indian bowlers took charge restricting kiwi batting line up only to 189 runs. Luke Ronchi and James Heesham however provided some resistance scoring 66 and 46 respectively.
Indian batting was resisted by the heavy rain and they scored 129 runs in 26 overs with the help of courageous batting by Shikhar Dhawan 40 and Virat Kohli 52 but the match was abounded due to rain and India resulted as Winners according to D/L method.

With Angelo Mathews adding a handful of 95 runs and Asela Gunaratne who scored 70 runs in the tail overs, Sri Lanka managed to put a defend able target on the scoreboard.
On the counter side, the Sri Lanka bowling department could not defend this huge total and Australia won this match by 2 wickets with the help of magnificent ton by Aaron Finch scoring 137 followed by Travis Head who remained unbeaten at 85 runs.
