The tremendous performance by Pakistani bowlers in a special match of Champions Trophy 2017 against Sri Lanka. Pakistan won the toss and decided to field first and that decision proved captain accurate as the pitch was quite bowlers friendly with time to time. Sri Lanka did not have a great start against Pakistan as they lost their 1st wicket on 26 runs only, but then the middle order tried to stabilized the situation and did that so too.
The 2nd wicket partnership of Sri Lanka that led the batting depart to 82 runs, but they lost two wickets in a row only adding 1 run to that. Later, the partnership between Mathews and Dickwella that consisted of 78 runs helped Sri Lanka to divert pressure.
After the dangerous partnership, Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan both did an excellent job with their balls and putting the pressure on the opposition by picking the important and settled batsmen. That spell of Mohammad Amir and Junaid Khan helped the Pakistani team to restrict the Sri Lankan side at lower.
